most helpful warmup: sign language aThis warmup was most helpful for me because it taught me that sketching out the shapes first then erasing the lines makes it a lot easier. You have an idea of what it’s supposed to look like so all you have to do is as value and shadows. I really like drawing body parts now because I know what you need for it and you have your own example right in front of you all the time.

She arranges the items in a geometric pattern, like crackers and cheese were put into a symmetrical square. She has a studio in her house where she shoots the photographs and she goes around looking for the best lighting while getting inspiration from other various objects.
http://www.salvagedesign.net/ Kristen inspires me because I realize anyone can be an artist and all you need is some inspiration and a idea. You can take any everyday object and turn it into a award winning peice. I’ve always wanted to make art out of random objects but now I see that people do it I’m inspired to get started. This really caught my eye with all the different colors that she uses and how she paints the egg shells a ombré effect. I really like that it’s very clean and neat, all the lines are straight and there’s nothing out of place that looks like it shouldn’t be there. My favorite one that she made was with the crackers and cheese and how it looks very complicated but if you think about it long enough and study the picture it becomes very simple and anyone can recreate it. |
About MeMy name is Olivia Rebolloso and i attend Ms. Sudkamp’s art class at Apex High School. I am 15 years old and i previously went to Apex Middle School and I was in a pottery/sculpture class. I really enjoy making art and painting is one of my favorite things, I always made paintings when I was little and I always knew I wanted to do it and when I was older. I love visiting art museums and seeing the history of paintings and sculptures by famous artists made hundreds of years ago. I think art is a very good way to express feelings and emotions and it can be used many ways.
In this picture is my best friends and I at formal in middle schools. They are some of my biggest supporters and I really appreciate them and how much we all encourage eachother with school.
My friends and I have a makeup account on Instagram. Where we post videos and pictures of us doing tutorials and eyeshadow looks and I think makeup is just like art because it’s how people express themselves and it has been used for hundreds of years. I remember I would come to class in elementary school with bright red lipstick on because I expressed myself that way and because I loved the color red. I think eyeshadow is very similar to drawing and painting for many reasons like, it involves lots of different colors and different types of eyeshadow with diffferent levels of pigmentation. Just like you have to switch out your drawing pencils, you have to switch out brushes because there are many different kinds of brushes for the different types of makeup. Blending brushes for eyeshadow usually are very fluffy and light so you blend out the harsh lines. I love using makeup and it’s one of my favorite hobbies.
